Brokerage Team
David specializes in the sale of income property, commercial land, project leasing and tenant representation. With 41+ years of experience, David has been involved in all phases of the commercial real estate business.
Complementing his work at Ridge Pointe Commercial Real Estate, David co-owns Ridge Pointe Asset Management with his longtime friend Jeff Grinnan. In a leadership role, he helps guide the firm’s direction and maintains a strong focus on delivering the outcomes clients expect.
Along with being voted “Best New Retail Development in DFW” for his work with the Bass Pro Shop development in Garland, TX, David has played a fundamental role in assembling valuable tracts of land for retail development on behalf of Costco, Rockwall Independent School District, Direct Development, and Briarwood Capital, among many others. The Rockwall Costco and Garland Bass Pro Shop developments remain two of the area's top sales tax generators.
David’s core belief and reason for starting Ridge Pointe Commercial Real Estate in 2012 was to bring experienced, professional commercial real estate services to communities outside Dallas. "We feel there is a tremendous need for quality, community-based service aimed at areas often overlooked by urban-based firms. We view authentic customer service as a daily commitment and don’t believe it can be handled effectively from over an hour away or by a local novice with little to no experience in commercial real estate."
In addition to real estate, David mentors business students at Texas Tech University. On weekends, he enjoys country living with his wife and working with cows and horses.
David holds a Bachelor of Finance with a Real Estate Emphasis from Texas Tech University. He is a Licensed Real Estate Broker with the State of Texas and a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. D CEO magazine annually recognizes him as a Power Broker.
Grant English serves as Vice President and began his career in commercial real estate in 2009. By combining practical brokerage experience with the analytical framework required of CCIM professionals, Jonathan is well-positioned to help clients evaluate opportunities, mitigate risk, and make informed real estate decisions. “It is imperative to get to know every client and fully understand their unique situation. Doing so allows me to be as helpful as possible and cater to their individual needs.”

Jillian brings firsthand experience running the properties she now helps clients buy, sell, and lease. She joined Ridge Pointe Commercial Real Estate in 2023 on the property management side, where she handled accounts receivable and lease administration and later led marketing across the firm's portfolio.
Working daily with tenants, ownership groups, and investors gave her a practical understanding of what makes a property perform, from lease structure and tenant relationships to how a listing is positioned in the market.
Jillian now puts that foundation to work for her brokerage clients. Investors value her command of the numbers, landlords value her grasp of lease terms and operations, and every client benefits from her marketing background when it's time to bring a property to market. Raised in Greenville, Jillian focuses on Hunt County and the surrounding Northeast Texas market, helping property owners, tenants, developers, and investors find the right opportunities.
Jillian holds a BBA in Financial Management and Marketing from Abilene Christian University. Brooks Owens joined Ridge Pointe Commercial Real Estate in 2024, specializing in restaurant and retail tenant representation.
His career prior to commercial real estate includes experience in commercial construction, logistics, and nearly a decade working in restaurants and the hospitality industry. He works to take as much of the site-selection process off the operator’s plate as possible, letting clients stay focused on running their business while he handles the real estate strategy, market research, site evaluation, and negotiations.
Raised in a small town in the Texas Panhandle, Brooks carries the values of hard work, accountability, and community into both his professional and personal life. Outside of brokerage, he enjoys coaching his two sons in baseball, playing golf, and spending time with family on the boat or at the beach.
